From December 5th to 8th, Wharton University of Pennsylvania celebrated the QS Reimagine Education Awards, in which, across 18 categories, it recognizes the best education technologies around the world.
The event brings together EdTech startups, academic faculty from top institutions, Chief Innovation Officers, university leadership, teachers, and other stakeholders in the future of higher education teaching and learning, and rewards innovative approaches that enhance student learning outcomes and employability, offering $50,000 in funding to the overall winners.
Of the 1,100 educational projects that applied, only 18% of the best solutions were selected to participate in the finals in each category. Wonderly was selected and distinct as a startup that solves the demand for digital skills for kids and it stayed in the top 13 best solutions in the “Access, Diversity & Inclusion” category.
The key to Wonderly’s success in this event it’s the holy trinity of inclusive education: high-quality educational content, scalability and the easiness to integrate and deploy, and a low cost that allows any student to learn 21st-century skills.
